Botox & Injectables
What is the difference between wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers?+
Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® temporarily relax targeted muscles to soften expression lines. Dermal fillers add volume or refine contours. Your provider will assess which approach fits your anatomy and goals.
How long do Botox® results take to develop?+
Softening may begin within several days, with results developing over approximately one to two weeks. Timing varies by patient and treatment area.
How is my injectable treatment plan chosen?+
Your provider reviews your history, facial anatomy, movement and goals before recommending treatment areas and an appropriate dose or amount. Recommendations and total cost are individualized.
Skin Treatments & Facials
Which facial should I choose for my skin concerns?+
A skin assessment helps identify concerns such as congestion, dryness or uneven texture. Your provider can recommend a facial or another skin treatment based on your skin and current routine.
How does Hydrafacial™ differ from Hydraneedling?+
Hydrafacial™ focuses on cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration. Pearl's Hydraneedling combines Hydrafacial™ with SkinPen® Microneedling, so preparation and recovery differ. Your provider determines suitability.
Should I bring my skincare routine to a facial appointment?+
Tell your provider which skincare products you use, including retinoids, acids and exfoliants, along with recent treatments or sensitivity. This helps guide treatment and preparation advice.
Morpheus8, Microneedling & Laser Treatments
How does Morpheus8 differ from SkinPen® Microneedling?+
SkinPen® Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency energy. Your provider recommends an option after reviewing your concerns, medical history and recovery needs.
Does laser hair removal remove every hair permanently?+
Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction rather than a guarantee of permanent removal of every hair. Multiple sessions are usually needed because hair grows in cycles, and maintenance may be appropriate.
Which skin-tightening options does Pearl offer?+
Pearl offers a Radio Frequency Facial, Morpheus8 and QuantumRF. These differ in approach and recovery; a clinical assessment helps determine which, if any, is appropriate.
Pricing, Financing & Consultations
Where can I find treatment prices?+
Existing treatment pages list published prices, packages or consultation-based pricing. Your provider confirms recommended treatment areas, dose or session plan and the expected total before treatment.
Does Pearl offer financing?+
Yes. Pearl Med Spa offers financing through Cherry, Affirm, and CareCredit. Use the financing buttons on our website to review available options. Financing is subject to approval.
Is a consultation the right place to start?+
Some facials and services can be booked directly, while other treatments require consultation-led care. A consultation is especially useful when you are comparing options or unsure what to book; the Pearl Skin Strategy™ provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns and goals.
What is a med spa?+
A med spa (medical spa) combines the relaxing environment of a day spa with advanced medical-grade aesthetic treatments supervised by licensed medical professionals. At Pearl Med Spa in Boca Raton, we offer injectables, laser treatments, and advanced skin care under expert medical guidance.
What should I expect at my first visit?+
Your first visit will include a skin assessment, a discussion of your aesthetic goals, and a customized treatment recommendation. If you're ready, we can often begin treatment the same day for many services.
Do you accept insurance?+
Med spa treatments are cosmetic and not covered by insurance. Pearl Med Spa offers financing through Cherry, Affirm, and CareCredit, subject to approval.
How do I choose the right treatment?+
Our experienced team will help you choose the best treatment based on your concerns, goals, skin type, and budget during your consultation. We believe in honest, personalized recommendations.
Safety, Preparation & Downtime
Are your treatments safe?+
Your treatment will be provided by an appropriately licensed professional using products and devices suitable for the specific procedure. Your provider will discuss relevant safety information and help determine the most appropriate treatment for your individual needs.
What comfort options should I discuss before treatment?+
Tell your provider about discomfort concerns and allergies before your visit. Topical numbing is used for SkinPen® Microneedling and Morpheus8, and ProNox® may be available for select procedures. Numbing is not included in every service; confirm availability and any applicable fees with our team.
How should I prepare for an aesthetic appointment?+
Share your medical history, medications, supplements, allergies and recent procedures. Follow the preparation instructions for your specific treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from your healthcare provider.
Will I need recovery time after treatment?+
Recovery depends on the procedure and your individual response. Facials, injectables and energy-based treatments have different aftercare requirements and possible temporary effects. Discuss timing with your provider, especially before an event.
What should I do if I have concerns after treatment?+
Contact Pearl at (561) 334-2921 with questions or unexpected symptoms. For severe symptoms such as trouble breathing, seek emergency care immediately by calling 911. Do not wait for a routine appointment.
